Privacy Policy

WRAPD ("we", "us") is a job management app for tradespeople, operated from the United Kingdom. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are. We keep it in plain English — the same way we build the app.

What we collect

Your account: name, email address, phone number, business name, trade type and business details you add during onboarding or in settings.

Your customers' details: names, addresses, email addresses and job information you enter or speak into the app. You are the controller of this data; we process it on your behalf to run the app for you.

Voice recordings and transcripts: when you record a site survey, the audio is stored securely and transcribed. Transcripts and the structured survey data derived from them are stored against the job.

Waitlist signups: email address, trade type and the IP address of the signup request (used to prevent abuse).

How we use it

To run WRAPD for you: creating quotes and invoices, transcribing and structuring surveys, sending quotes to your customers by email on your instruction, and keeping your records. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data to advertise to your customers.

AI processing

Survey transcription and quote generation use third-party AI providers: OpenAI (audio transcription) and Anthropic (structuring surveys and drafting quote content). Only the content needed for the task is sent — your recordings and transcripts are not used by us to train AI models.

Who else touches the data

We use a small number of processors to run the service: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email), OpenAI and Anthropic (AI processing, above), and Stripe (payments, once billing features are live). Each processes data under their own data processing agreements.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account, so your job history, quotes and tax records stay available to you. If you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep records longer (for example, our own accounting records).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it, or restrict how it is used, and you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you think we have got something wrong. Email us and we will sort it — no forms, no runaround.
